Anchor Text: Rosie Revere Engineer by Andrea Beatty
Rosie loves to invent things, but sometimes her inventions don’t work on the first try. Her aunt Rosie explains to her that sometimes out flops pave the way to our future successes. The book encourages kids to keep trying and that is perseverance that helps us improve. I chose this is as an anchor text because of this important message and also because of the creative, winsome text and the detailed illustrations that will spark kids interest in inventions.
